3. Why do you think so many conspiracy theories surround the pyramids and the megaliths? Give examples of a few and explain where you think they come from.
I think that there are so many conspiracy theories surrounding pyramids and megaliths because they are misunderstood. People, by human nature, question things that they do not understand. Because history was not recorded very much at that time, we do not know everything about why and how these structures were constructed. They are such magnificent structures that people wonder how people could have created them so long ago. Some people believe that archeologists stage the whole thing, and created the pictures that are inside the pyramids. Another theory is that humans have been altered by a visiting race, which is why we experienced such quick development around two million tears ago. The pyramids could have served as landing bases. A very imaginative person probably came up with this one. Many people have not even considered the fact that other, more advanced races exist, so this person either genuinely believes this is true or desperately searched for a theory. Humans can come up with all the theories they want, and any one of them may be correct, no matter how abstract. The truth is, we never will completely know what was going on before history was recorded.
